Rocking All My Purple Life!
Got the sweetest e mail today from a reader of my blog who sent me a picture of her rocking All Of My Purple Life. I’ll excerpt:
“I left a comment on your blog and wanted to send you a picture of me rocking your gloss, which I love to death! I know that one of the great things about this gloss is that, unlike the vast majority of cosmetics, it was designed to be especially flattering to deeper skin tones - but it’s so versatile that it looks great even on an NC20 like me. I don’t look good in red lipstick, so purple has always been my red, but never before has it been as easy to wear as with All of My Purple Life. Here I’m wearing MACs sun blonde, but my favorite pairing is with a dramatic cat eye.”
She is also a stroke survivor and apologized for her “lopsided smile.” I had to write back and let her know she looks BEAUTIFUL. So honored and happy she sent me the pic and allowed me to share her photo!
Day 1 of All of My Purple Life.. I went with a purple eye and my twists pulled off of my face.. I used applicator which went on a little heavy for me but it gave me a nice bold lip. Totally out my comfort zone but I liked it and got a lot of compliments.
I’ve not worn any color on my lips in years! I love the way this looks on me and how it blends with all of these beautiful ladies on here. Thanks Afrobella!
